Movable in several dimensions – high flexibility for complicated movements, including in the sixth axis. Twist of approx. ± 10° per chain link in the longitudinal axis possible. This facilitates cable routing around difficult geometries. High tensile strength thanks to the "ball and socket" principle, providing smooth movements in all axes. Easy open mechanism – for easy filling and replacement ofharnessed cables or media hoses. Outstanding mechanical characteristics. Small bend radii and pitch for space-saving installation. Easy to lengthen and shorten – one injection-moulded part for less assembly work. No load-bearing elements (e.g. steel cables, spring mechanisms, etc.) required along the tensile force. High stability - through external stop-dogs, clear stop-dogs for radius and torsion. Minimise set-up times through the simplest connection and intelligent accessories to your machine/robot

When do I use the TRE series:

• When an easy-to-fill 3D chain is needed
• If a secure energy supply is required for multi-axis (3D) movements
• If high torsion resistance is required
• If the system needs to be easy to lengthen and shorten
• When a small bend radius is needed
• When high tensile strength is important

 

When not to use TRE series:

• For circular movements with high load

• When a more cost-effective, less sophisticated 3D solution is needed
