1964-es alapítása óta az igus GmbH székhelye mindig is Köln környékén volt.A Köln-Mühlheimben található dupla garázsból a vállalat 1977-ben Bergisch Gladbachba költözött, majd 1994-ben a jelenlegi székhelyére, Köln-Lindbe.
