Comparison of production processes

You can choose between various manufacturing processes for producing your desired component. These include injection moulding, 3D printing, production from bar stock and mechanical reprocessing. The iglidur Bearing Designer compares these so that you can select the suitable method for your plain bearings.

Service life calculation

For injection-moulded plain bearings, the online tool calculates the service life of your plain bearing. Simply enter application parameters and obtain the result within seconds. The service life calculation is based on numerous test laboratory trials, which are documented in our database and then used by the online tools.
