How does the wear in the pivoting develop with increasing loads?

The wear comparison was carried out under the following test parameters:

Load: 1 and 2MPa Speed: 0.01m/s Shaft: Cf53 and 304 SS
Plain bearing materials: iglidur J and iglidur W300

Test result

In the igus® laboratories, it was determined that the wear rate of iglidur® plain bearings in the low-load pivoting increases with doubling, but remains significantly below the wear rate of the sintered bushings.
